In terms of the properties typical of the product and its behaviour in use, flat fabric tends to accumulate a certain amount of fluff, which can lead to the formation of pilling. Foreign fibres can also attach to the material. Pillings created in this way are removed with a lint device. Such fibre properties do not justify a complaint. Discolouration caused by pillows and/or covering materials is not a defect in the cover material. Colour and structure deviations are typical of the product and do not give rise to complaints. The interaction of pressure, heat and moisture can cause more or less severe pile distortion (pressure points). This phenomenon, known as change in appearance caused by body weight and body heat or “sitting marks”, is a typical property of the cover and does not represent a reduction in quality.
