In terms of the properties typical of the product and its behaviour in use, flat fabric tends to accumulatea certain amount of fluff, which can lead to the formation of pilling. Foreign fibres can also attach to the material. Pillings created in this way are removed with a lint device. Such fibre properties do not justify a complaint. Discolouration caused by pillows and/or covering materials is not a defect in the cover material. Colour and structure deviations are typical of the product and do not give rise to complaints.
The combination of pressure, heat, and moisture can cause more or less significant pile displacement (pressure marks). This phenomenon, known as seat gloss or usage sheen, is a typical characteristic of the fabric and does not represent a reduction in quality.
